Jennine and Fired-up Catering came highly recommended, and after our wedding reception event we certainly understood why. Throughout the planning process Jennine was tremendously helpful. She had great ideas and we went with all of her recommendations. The day of the reception she was at the venue in plenty of time to ensure the food was ready at the time we designated, and everything was fresh and delicious. She even had gluten-free pizza and calzones for our guests who need to be gluten-free. The staff/servers/bartender were friendly and professional and for months after the reception our friends were still talking about the food. As a matter of fact, we became such fans of Jennine and Fired-up Catering that my husband's 40th high school reunion committee has hired her to cater their dinner/dance. Thanks Jennine!
We used Fired-Up Catering for our son's high-school graduation party. Jennine is fabulous. She was so easy to work with!!! EVERYONE raved about the food and we have given her name numerous times. Almost 2 years later and guests from that party still ask for her information because the pizza was so amazing!! There is no question we will use Fired-Up again for our next graduation party!!!
We wanted something different for a surprise backyard 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for our parents. Fired-Up was wonderful and in a word the party was FABULOUS! The planning process was flawless and Jennine made wonderful recommendations on what to serve. Our guests had a wonderful time and the food was great!
Fired-up catered our golf outing for about 100 people. They did both lunch at the turn and dinner. Amazing, amazing, amazing. For a bunch of guys expecting the tired old hotdog lunch and steak/chicken dinner outing meal, Jennine and her team blew us away. Calzone and pizzas with fruit kabobs at the turn and ribs, corn, salad and dessert for dinner. Can't tell you how many compliments I got from everyone. Not the ordinary...but extraordinary. And the price was right. I'll be using them again this year.
We recently used Fired-up catering for our daughter's graduation party and had a tremendous experience with them. Many of our guests indicated that they really made the party. The owner and her employees were very easy to work with and were very friendly to our guests. In addition, the pizza was great, and they were able to keep our guests well fed without any real wait. They also minimized much of the burden on us as hosts for food preparation. I would highly recommend Fired-up Catering.
My review for today is a catering company called Fired-Up Catering from Highland Hts, OH. They were just one of many different food vendors at the 2011 Cleveland Garlic Festival.
The pizza made on the small mobile wood fired oven was a slice of heaven, no pun intended. Each pizza that came out of this little cooker looked perfect, with just the right amount of toppings, perfectly baked cheese, and crust that was crunchy and chewy at the same time. My wife and I got a veggie pizza, topped with artichokes, sweet red peppers, spinach, fresh garlic (of course), and a parmesan sauce instead of tomato sauce. Each little pie was handmade and cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes after ordering, and well worth the short wait. The pizza was about 10" diameter and cut into 4 pieces. Perfect size for a light snack. My wife commented at how much better something like this would be at a wedding reception than the standard under cooked chicken, rawhide quality beef, or bland and bony fish. Think about it, who doesn't like pizza? Have some pizza, some wine, and enjoy the rest of the evening dancing and/or drinking instead of waiting forever for the lame buffet to get put out.
If you ever get to an outdoor event and Fire-Up Catering is at the event, get a pizza. You won't be sorry.
